Top 10 Verses about Healing
Physical and mental healings are contained through-out the entire Bible! God supernaturally healed people during the Old Testament times and Jesus continuously performed healings during the New Testament times. In fact, the Bible states Jesus healed all sicknesses and all diseases of all who came to him. The Bible also tells us God (God the Father, Jesus the Son, and Holy Spirit) never changes. In other words, God is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8; Malachi 3:6), so we can have assurance that God’s same biblical-day healings and compassion are still available to us today! The Bible also tells us that scripture is health or medicine to our body and nourishment to our bones. So, try thinking of the “Gospel” as the “Gos-pill” – as it is “good news” to our health! Therefore, taking a daily dose of God’s Word (reading, listening, speaking, and meditating on healing verses) is important for maintaining good health – physically, mentally, and spiritually. For those who happen to be sick, try taking 2-3 daily doses of God’s spiritual medicine as well as saying a prayer of faith knowing that God will heal you. God wants us healed and He provides numerous scriptures to provide encouragement, assurance, comfort, and healing!
“Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.” Psalm 103:2-3

When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.” Matthew 8:14-17

NOTE: Since healing is very related with one’s faith we highly recommend you also read the Top 10 Verses on Faith. For example, we read in the majority of the New Testament healings where Jesus stated to the healed person “your faith has healed you,” which is very eye-opening. In other words, Jesus oftentimes demanded faith before He supernaturally healed the person. Fortunately, Jesus tells us our faith doesn’t need to be super strong. For example, Jesus tells us in Matthew 17:20 that our faith can be as small as a tiny mustard seed and still be sufficient and effective. Praise the Lord! Thus, a person’s individual faith is very important as it’s the conduit to receiving God’s supernatural healing power. Click the below image to go to the Top Verses on Faith:
