“Faith Check-Up” Assessment

Faith is mostly about hoping things will work out, but I don’t feel confident about unseen things. Faith is important, but I often rely more on what I can see and understand. Faith means believing in God and His Word, but I sometimes struggle with doubt when I can’t see results. Faith is the act of believing and receiving a promise from God (that’s initially invisible), and to which I try to hold fast until it manifests.

I don’t really know where faith comes from or how to grow it. I believe faith is important, but I think it mostly comes from personal experiences and feelings. I know faith is connected to hearing God’s Word, but I don’t consistently seek it out. I understand that faith comes from hearing God’s Word, and I try to feed my faith by regularly hearing and confessing Scripture.

I don’t think faith works this way, and I rely on circumstances rather than belief. I believe in God, but I don’t think speaking to situations makes a difference. I try to believe and speak in faith, but I sometimes struggle with doubt or uncertainty. I understand that faith requires believing, speaking, and not doubting, and I actively apply this by speaking God's promises with confidence.

I feel abandoned and don’t believe God can bring good from life’s problems. I often feel anxious and overwhelmed by difficulties. I try to trust God and His Word but sometimes struggle with doubt. I trust God and His Word completely and find peace in trials.

I don’t think obedience is necessary for faith to work, and I follow my own way. I follow some of God’s commands but often compromise, and I don’t think much about how obedience affects my faith. I try to obey God’s Word, but I sometimes struggle with temptations, which I realize can weaken my faith. I understand that faith works best when I walk in obedience, and I strive to obey God’s Word in all areas of my life.

I don’t think sharing my faith is necessary. I rarely talk about my faith with others. I want to share my faith more but struggle with confidence. I regularly share my faith and look for opportunities to witness.

I don’t think forgiveness is necessary for faith to work, and I hold grudges. I know I should forgive, but I hold on to past hurts, and my faith feels weak at times. I try to forgive, but I sometimes struggle with resentment, which can affect my faith. I understand that faith works through love, and I intentionally forgive so that my faith is not hindered.

I don’t think patience has anything to do with faith—I expect things to happen instantly. I trust God but often become discouraged or frustrated when things take too long. I believe faith is important, but I sometimes struggle with patience while waiting for results. I understand that faith and patience work together, and I try to remain steadfast while waiting for God's promises to manifest.

I don’t think speaking God’s Word is necessary for faith to work. I sometimes speak about faith, but I rely more on silent belief or internal thoughts. I believe speaking God’s Word is important, but I don’t always make it a habit. I regularly speak God's Word, knowing faith is released through my words.

I don’t think confessing God’s promises makes a difference, and I focus more on what I see. I confess God’s Word occasionally, but I often let doubt or fear affect what I say. I try to confess God’s promises, but I sometimes waver when circumstances don’t change quickly. I consistently confess God’s Word and refuse to waver, trusting fully in His faithfulness.
